Ok so the other day, I was thinking REALLY hard (shocker, I know), and I realised that fee and foo are possibly the ONLY characters with only canines. Everyone else at LEAST has molars at the back, even if they have canines in the front. That would mean that Fee and Foo are PROBABLY Carnivores.
Think about their diet and scavenging patterns for a second. First of all on their diet, we usually see them eating insects as food. Insects are the PERFECT meat substitute, as they're high in protein and low in fat, and have a lot of nutrients in them too. Whilst there does seem to be lesser animals in the harvey beaks universe which CAN be eaten as meat, I'm going to guess that it's not a popular option when it looks just like the man who bags up your shopping at the supermarket. The twins DO grab meals at Harvey's house every so often, which suggests that they ARE omnivores, as we've seen them eat soup and mac n cheese.
Their 'scavenging' patterns I'm mainly basing on 'a recipe for disaster'. Foo is incapable of distinguishing poison ivy from edible plants, which suggests that the twins do NOT eat plants in their diet. They've been scavenging for food as they've been living alone in the wild for most of their lives, if they were eating plants then they would know what plants are safe and not. The same can be said for when the twins are handling the puff plant in 'foo shoes', and only Harvey knows that it's a dangerous plant. Fee brings in a dead rat, which seems to suggest that she deems 'dead rat' as 'food' ... Which isn't really too outlandish, since she supposedly ate a tire once ... That would then suggest that the twins eat dead animals they come across. Which would actually give a reason as to why Kratz' immediate thought was 'fee's going to eat me' when Fee landed on him out of nowhere, other than just 'the twins are scary' ...
That would make them oppertunistic carnivores. As in, they'll eat anything, but if they find meat then they're eating it.
... Well, at least my Animal Management college course is helping my theories...?
