Here is why I think Randl is at least almost always a grumpy character. According to Randl's Scandl that he says that he had the best night of sleep without his nagging mother. So, I think the reason Randl is so grumpy, is because Randl's Mom always nags him, and drives him crazy. And he also doesn't really sleep all that well.
